Dimitris Zampopoulos is an architect, set designer and researcher raised in Athens and based in Athens and Paris. He studied Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens (2017) and ENSA LaVillette in Paris (2015) and holds an MSc in Architectural Theory from NTUA (2021).
His works delve into issues and themes related to economy, energy, gender justice. In his practice, the spatial and the performative, the autonomous and the communal, the emblematic and the frivolous merge, look with current identities, structures and other psychosocial schemes.
The last years he has participated in exhibitions in Athens and collaborated with architectural offices, art organizations and theater productions.
Recently, he has attended the Artworks Fellowship Art Program of Stavros Niarchos Foundation, which he has been awarded with for the year 2020-2021.
